In addition to the workshops at the Convergence, below is a list of some additional highlights
Permaculture Farm Tour
Attendees will get to tour a large scale Permaculture farm in development located two miles from the site of the convergence. This site has multiple large ponds, large scale hugelkultur beds and terraces currently under development. We would like to thank the Strause family for providing this tour to the convergence attendees.
Carbon Positive Home Tour
The Carlson residence has installed a solar PV system which provides eough electricity to provide all electrical, heating and cooling needs for an entire year. This system is combined with a geothermal heating and cooling system. There will be short tours of these systems which will include performance and financial data.
Excavator
We will have an excavator onsite to help with the installation of keyline earthworks.
Music
On Saturday night we will have live music and you will have the opportunity to get up on stage and perform! Make sure to pack your instrument!
